Born in 1957 did his GD Art from Govt School of Art, Aurangabad. Has held exhibitions all over India and received awards from various organizations.

His murals and sculptures are exhibited in large corporate houses. Sanjay has been painting and drawing the human forms in different ways and he explores the essence of the universe through the form of the human body. Sanjay has used colours and he has played with canvas, paper and even clay. However now he has turned to Charcoal which is the oldest medium and his drawings celebrate the beauty of rhythmic human body. According to him “Coal is the last remnant of living beings. Starting from that very point is like creating the world yet again, coming back from the impossible and returning from the dead end. …. A New beginning… A pure swara”
